Marsha's Clients say.....
"Two
things that I enjoy most while working with Marsha are her
high degree of skill and the ease by which things get done. We
were lacking some basic competent resources and we were facing
some tough challenges with pressing deadlines. Marsha came to
the rescue just in time. She planned the approach and then
worked the plan as an excellent strategist would.
Working as a team, Marsha and I met the challenges
head on and met the deadlines with a quality product. This
achievement would not have been possible without Marsha’s
tenacity and skill. If you want productive results that bring
real value to your bottom line, call Marsha." Stephen P.
Agrati, Vice President, Business Development, CSC
"Marsha and the team from The Management Link are
continuously responsive to our needs. When we ask them to work
with us they provide quality support and understand the
contracts, but more importantly, the business considerations."
Nancy Friedman, Former President Universal Systems and
Technology, Inc.
Marsha's Value Advantage Quick Tip
When
your customer loves another, create a Culture of Creativity.
Further differentiating your product or service from the price
of everyone else's allows you to see many things about who you
are and what you deliver. But when you focus your client's
attention on the benefits of working with your organization,
you remove price as the deciding factor. You begin to appeal
to the customer's real needs and wants, but you have to find
out what those are first.
Why Engage Marsha? Marsha saves you time,
money, and energy. How? Marsha is a diagnoser of problems, and
she works to heal the entire organization. Call her in for one
problem and she will dig deep to get to the root of your
company's challenges. She then customizes her approach based
on your needs. Marsha never delivers a one-size-fits-all quick
fix; she gives you the long-term solutions to your
organization's challenges. Here's more....

Set Your Company's Sights on Reaching Strategic
Goals |
|
“Great ideas need landing gear as well as wings.”
~C.D. Jackson
Your organization can’t have goals just for the sake
of having goals, because you think you should or because it
sounds like a good idea. If you create goals that are vague,
confusing, and largely unreachable, you’ll not get more than a
glance from your employees when you post them on the break
room wall or send out a memo that gets filed away (or thrown
away) and forgotten by those who should be a part of
implementing them. Then, when goal-setting time comes around
again, the next quarter or even the next year, everyone in the
organization is understandably unenthusiastic about this waste
of their time.
When people are confused by goals that mean nothing
to them, the result is mediocrity. They simply can’t strive to
reach fluffy, non-specific goals like, “To be the premier
provider of chimes in the United States.” Overly general goals
simply don’t tell you anything, including when you’ve reached
them. |

The Four Fundamentals of Successful
Organizations |
|
- Concentrate on a clear, objectively devised overall
plan, keeping the big picture in focus. You’ll provide
value for your clients, and have the basics of a plan you
can live with. Communicate this strategy to everyone in your
organization, your clients, investors and allies. Have this
strategy clearly in front of you and review it continuously
– using the power of your subconscious mind to own
it.
- Foster an open-minded corporate culture where it is
fun to work: challenging, stimulating, and satisfying.
Have great expectations for your employees; give them
the power to make independent decisions and leadership roles
for projects they are passionate about. Then reward them
handsomely for great performance. Good leadership will allow
them to internalize your goals as their own.
- Maintain a flexible and flat organization. When
an organization encourages the easy sharing of information,
straightforward communication, cooperation, and team spirit,
much can be accomplished. Get rid of your dinosaur ways;
they’re heavy and outdated.
- Insist on sound operational implementation. Even
if you just meet your clients’ expectations, you will still
be great because most of your competition will not even do
that. You may not always charm them, but never let them
down; add a dose of what no one else is doing and
consistently meet their needs, and you’ll have them coming
back for more.

Upcoming Events |

We
want to introduce our new program first through a free
teleseminar followed within a couple of months with a 3-day
“Jump Start” program geared to get YOU to roll up your sleeves
and dig down into getting more from YOUR small
business(es)!
On March 14, 2007 (at 5 pm Pacific/8 pm
Eastern), we will present a free teleseminar entitled “ How to
Finally Make Serious Profits in Your Small Business”. The
seminar will last approximately 60 minutes and will be focused
on two or three very high level actions that small businesses
(YOU) can do to jack up their profits. We will do one or two
makeovers from the group on the call to let all of our
attendees see what we can do. We expect to repeat the
teleseminar at least one more time before the Jump
Start.
Then, approximately two months later (on May 15
to 17, 2007), we will present our 3- day “Entrepreneur’s Jump
Start” program in which we will take the participants through
the key facets of their business with the focus on making more
money and getting more business.
